Public Relations

Approach

His passion for PR has stayed with me throughout my time as a forecaster. Which means I can be a real help to companies who want to use predictions and trends as an effective PR tool.

William began his career in music PR, looking after artists from Michael Jackson to Motorhead. Since then he’s become a globally recognised trend forecaster. He uses his knowledge of both areas to help multiple clients create highly effective trends-led PR campaigns, as a researcher and spokesperson.

Global Telecoms Provider

The client saw the dangers of shrinking margins in the Telecoms sector and sought new revenue opportunities within the broader Communications sector.

I offered recommendations based on an in-depth research report on new customer communications behaviours.

My advice inspired a range of successful new strategic ideas. One of these was a move into TV, which informed the company’s decision to acquire an existing broadcaster and use it as the basis of their own  network: now one of Europe’s top pay TV providers.

National Magazine Publisher

The client had a large portfolio of popular magazines but was worried they might be falling behind more innovative competitors.

I worked with senior leadership to create a company-wide innovation programme.

The programme generated two successful outcomes. It established a more innovative leadership and company culture. And it identified a new revenue new revenue model based on harnessing customer loyalty and the vertical expansion of their IP.

National Gaming Company

The client was concerned that future legislation could reduce the profitability of its gambling-related portfolio. It needed to identify profitable new revenue streams.

I was brought in to help build a SLT-led innovation programme.

I started by X

The programme identified three new revenue models, which the company planned to pursue.
